Yuvraj Singh

In the year 2011, Yuvraj was diagnosed with a cancer in his lung. He underwent treatment in the US and returned to India in 2012. Not only did he beat cancer but also made a comeback in international cricket in September 2012 which is a testament to his amazing fighting spirit. His earnings from salary lie around the $3m mark annually. His perception as one of the care-free, bold boys of cricket changed significantly post his health struggles to that of resilience and grit. Virender Sehwag

Virender Sehwag, one of the most aggressive batsmen of all times, played for the Indian team for fourteen years across formats. He made his debut in 1999 and the rest, as they say is history. He is the only India so far to score two triple centuries and take 5 wickets in test cricket. He also made a double hundred against West Indies in 2011 which was the highest Indian score at that time of 219 runs off 149 balls. He served as the captain of Delhi Daredevils in the Indian premiere League for the first two seasons. After a hiatus, he reprised his role as the Daredevil skipper in the fourth and fifth editions.
