The American YouTuber gave the college student two suitcases with $20,000 (Rs 16.6 lakh approximately).
American YouTuber James Stephen Donaldson, known professionally as MrBeast, recently went to a college and paid the tuition fee of a random subscriber. The video was posted on Instagram on Thursday and it has amassed 12.9 million views so far.
“Let’s see who’s college tuition we’re paying for today,” he captioned the video. MrBeast began the video by saying, “I’m about to ask people a very important question.” First, he approached a student and asked him if he could see that he had subscribed to him. He had seen some of his videos but hadn’t subscribed to his YouTube channel.
Then he approached another random student and he had not only subscribed to his channel but also turned on the notifications. MrBeast then asked him what his tuition fee cost, to which the student replied $14,000 (Rs 11.6 lakh approximately).
MrBeast then called his team who were carrying suitcases filled with cash. He said one of them carries $10,000 and gave the student two suitcases amounting to $20,000 (Rs 16.6 lakh approximately) as he wanted to give him some extra. MrBeast told the astonished student that even if he had lied, he would have literally given him a hundred grand ($1,00,000).
“Imagine this happens the day you skip class lol,” a user commented. “Bro imagine not being subscribed to Mr Beast in 2023,” said another. “Why I cant just meet someone like Mr Beast,” wrote a third. “If I were a YouTuber that had a ton of money to spare… I’d pay people’s tuition… to be doctors/work in the medical field… Because that’s such a stressful job,” another netizen said.
