Singer Sonu Nigam, who is currently living in Dubai, tested positive for COVID-19 along with his wife, son, and sister-in-law. The singer posted a vlog on Instagram, in which he talked about his health and other things.
The post was captioned as, “#SonuLiveD | Vlog 141. I tested Covid. Happy New Year 2022 to the extended family! #covid_19 #newyear #2022 #vlog.”
He shared that despite testing positive for COVID, his symptoms are mild and he doesn’t feel like he’s ill. He also sang a bit and said that since he was able to sing, he’s fine. He said, “I feel we will have to live with it. Many times, I have performed at concerts while being down with viral fever, having a bad throat or congestion. This feels a lot better than that, I am not dying,” he said. He went on to sing a bit and claimed that since he could sing well, he was alright.
He also said that as his wife and son have also tested positive for the virus, he’ll now be able to spend more time with his son, whom he didn’t meet for a long time. He said, “It’s a happy Covid family.”
Sonu also informed that he had to go to Bhubaneshwar to shoot for Super Singer but since he’s in quarantine, he’ll not be able to go. He also confessed feeling bad for people who would have incurred losses because of him and said that Shaan has filled in for him at one place and Anu Malik will be replacing him for the Super Singer shoot.
