Legendary film actor and one of the biggest superstars of the industry, Dilip Kumar passed away just a few minutes ago. The news of Dilip Kumar’s demise comes almost a week after he was admitted to the hospital for a serious breathing issue. While statements saying he was stable were released few days back, this morning, the tragic news of the huge loss was broken on the internet.
An official statement by his family friend Faisal Farroqui was made through Dilip Kumar’s Twitter account. It read, “With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return”
Dilip Kumar was more than just an actor, he was the start of the era of superstars and one of the most celebrated heroes of his time. He’s been an inspiration for generations of actors after him and will continue to educate young actors who will learn from his legacy and work.
