Anant Ambani, 28, is the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Indian company Reliance, and his wife Nita Ambani. Merchant, 29, is the daughter of Viren Merchant, the CEO of Encore Healthcare, a well-known pharmaceutical corporation. In January, the pair had a traditional engagement ceremony.
