Akshay Kumar returned back home yesterday after his COVID-19 recovery. The actor had tested COVID-19 positive on April 4 and was soon rushed to a hospital in Mumbai for precautionary reasons. Now that the superstar is back home and tested negative, the actor has taken to social media to send out his best wishes to everyone for the various festivals that fall on the same day.
India is celebrating several festivals today as Baisakhi, Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Vishu and many more are celebrated today. Akshay Kumar took to the occasion and decided to send out good wishes to his fans through social media. He tweeted saying, “Nav samvatsar- Vikram Samvat 2078 Happy Gudi Padwa, Samvatsar Padvo, Yugadi, Ugadi, Cheti Chand, Navreh, Baisakhi, Naba Barsha, Bihu, Vishu, Puthandu, Cheiraoba, Pana Sankranti to all.” Expect a blockbuster wish and tweet from the King of blockbusters. Akshay Kumar’s recovery was announced in a quirky way by his wife and actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna. She had shared a caricature of them and said, “Safe and sound and good to have him back around. #allizwell.” Akshay Kumar was shooting for Ram Setu when he was tested positive for COVID-19. The actor will be seen next in Ram Setu, Sooryavanshi, Raksha Bandhan, Bachchan Pandey, Bell Bottom, Atrangi Re and Prithviraj Chauhan. Superb!
